SPARQ Coffee, a fast growing coffee retail chain in Klang Valley, aimed to deliver a seamless coffee-ordering experience for their customers. Techies was tasked with developing a mobile app that would streamline the ordering process, enable fast deliveries, and enhance customer engagement. The app allows customers to browse the menu, customize their orders, and choose between delivery or pickup options, all while earning loyalty points for every purchase.

With a focus on simplicity and convenience, the app was designed to reflect SPARQ Coffee’s vibrant branding while ensuring a smooth user journey from order placement to delivery.

Challenges

One of the key challenges was creating a user-friendly interface that allowed customers to easily customize their orders. SPARQ Coffee’s extensive menu included a wide range of customization options, such as milk alternatives, extra espresso shots, and flavor add-ons. The challenge was to design a seamless and intuitive system to handle these customizations without overwhelming users.

Another challenge was ensuring real-time synchronization between customers, baristas, and delivery personnel. Orders needed to be accurately tracked from placement to delivery, which required robust back-end systems to prevent errors or delays.

Finally, integrating a seamless loyalty rewards system added another layer of complexity. The system needed to automatically calculate points and allow customers to redeem rewards effortlessly, making the overall experience both enjoyable and rewarding.
